Job description

We’re seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and support a critical system used by countless car dealerships across Canada. This system functions as an ERP for dealerships, enabling them to effectively track repairs, costs, appointments, and service satisfaction. Our clients include car dealerships and regional offices of well-known brands such as Toyota and Chrysler.

Tasks

1. Sanity Testing: Conduct thorough sanity tests to ensure system stability and performance.
2. Security Remediation: Implement security measures and address vulnerabilities within Azure and AWS environments.
3. CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on code scanning.
4. Monitoring Dashboards: Create and manage monitoring dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.
5. Team Support: Collaborate with developers and other team members to provide technical assistance and support.

Requirements

1. Cloud Experience: Proven experience with Azure, including resource management.
2. Azure DevOps: Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and project management.
3. AWS Expertise: Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, ECR, ECS, EKS, Route53, DMS, RedShift, IAM, and VPC.
4. New Relic: Experience with New Relic for performance monitoring and analysis.
5. Server Knowledge: Familiarity with MS Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
6. Programming Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages, particularly .NET, is a plus.
7. English Proficiency: Advanced English language skills are essential for effective communication.
